I'm Fábio Pacheco, a software engineer based in Funchal, Madeira (Portugal). I hold a Master's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade da Madeira and have spent the last years building software across backend, web and product teams — from Java banking systems to modern Elixir / Phoenix platforms.
I consider myself an organized, easy-going engineer and a fast learner with strong problem-solving instincts. I value clean, maintainable solutions, working closely with a team, and taking on new challenges to ship things that matter.

- Took over and modernized a fragmented legacy system of unreliable Java, C# and React microservices, migrating it to a unified Elixir / Phoenix / Ash backend with no loss of business continuity.
